The Ritual follows three artists, in preparation for a performative ritual to venerate and intimately entangle an audience with Myc-a, a symbiotic biosphere embodying mutuality and ecological stewardship. Candid rehearsal footage unveils the artists' endeavour to transcend generic New Age tropes and maintain a critical artistic stance. Amidst laughter, awkwardness, and mutual respect, the collaborative trio navigates the unfamiliar terrain of spiritual rituals, wary of clichés and cultural appropriation.

Myc-a becomes the focal point, symbolising interspecies synergy and a departure from the existential threats posed by consumerism and ecological decline. By decentring the human, the artists’ ritual proposes diversity and mutualism for a crucial eco-social revolution.
